The website now provides a single point of access for services, information and people. It can be personalized to each user – citizens, employees, businesses and government. Markham has been a leader in providing online technology.
“As Canada’s high tech capital, we embrace online technology for all our programs. We initiated online voting starting with the 2003 municipal election, one of the first municipalities in Canada to take this step. Our 2007 Click with Markham campaign used technology to seek public input into our planning process – Building Markham’s Future Together,” said Mayor Scarpitti.

Easy-to-locate sections on the key services most used by residents·
An Access Markham section for faster response to customer inquiries·
An A-to-Z service listing ·
A ‘How Do I” – Access Markham section·
A connect with Markham Council; and·
Quick access to news, events and activities. Included on the new site is a translation option so residents can select another language in which to view the site.
